Pros

I've been fortunate enough to embark on a fulfilling journey at LSI that has been nothing short of remarkable. In less than a year, I have experienced an impressive trajectory, culminating in a promotion to a higher role as a Controls Engineer. Here are the highlights of my experience that make this job stand out: **Advancement Opportunities:** The growth prospects at LSI are truly exceptional. Within a short span, I was offered the chance to advance and take on increased responsibilities. This speaks volumes about the company's commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent. **Supportive Colleagues:** The transition into the Controls Engineer role was made smooth and seamless largely due to the incredible support and guidance from my colleagues. The team camaraderie and willingness to help have been instrumental in my successful transition. **Management Support:** The management at LSI has been more than accommodating; they have been genuinely supportive of my career aspirations. Their guidance, encouragement, and recognition of hard work have contributed significantly to my professional growth. Overall, my experience at LSI has been exceptional. The collaborative work environment, coupled with ample opportunities for growth and a management team that genuinely cares about its employees, has made this job a truly rewarding experience.

Cons

one notable area that falls short in comparison to other companies is the Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. While there are several commendable aspects of working at LSI, the limited PTO might be a concern for individuals who prioritize a robust work-life balance and ample time for personal needs.

Pros

If you like making intricate products this might ne good for you.

Cons

They keep and use pressbrakes from the 1980s that are constantly breaking and buggy. The machines I was on half the time didn't store programs because we didn't have the tapes to store them on, or tooling setups because it wasn't possible. I also consistantly had to bend parts that were so convoluted that I couldn't use the physical stops but instead etched them in with a nail to line the blades up. And as a final straw when the welders needed overtime they would come in early, use the good machines, and I'd be stuck using a pressbrake as old and broken as I am.
