Pros

The salary was fairly decent as long as HR keeps a staff long enough to get the payroll done correctly. They do offer a bonus.

Cons

I worked for LSI for under a year. My first impression was a lasting one. As the saying goes" It starts at the top!" Sadly, my experience was not a pleasant one. I worked in the accounting department. My supervisor took on too much and my co-workers pretty much ran the department. I was informed before I was hired permanent by the company's receptionist that race discrimination was an issue there, and I learned PERSONALLY that is indeed a FACT. I would never recommend anyone to work there, and I would DEFINITELY NEVER EVER go back

Pros

LSI continues to be very diverse company with manufacturing as well as new opportunities in commodity based markets. Most important is that LSI gives opportunity for employees within to change positions with in company and work on projects that are challenging but very rewarding. Unlike other larger public traded companies, where you have to apply for another role, LSI has open door policy where you can express your desire to do something different and bring value to the company. Great team of people works at this company as well, even with disagreements at times, LSI has core employees that can carry the weight as well as figure out ways to work together to bring results. Good place to be especially for someone starting out or mid way into career. A lot of new things going on and opportunity is there to learn and implement projects.

Cons

Don't have any at this time or at least not anything that stands out that is different from any other similar public traded companies. Departments need to work better together vs trying to complete with each other.
