This job will take you away from frontline foodservice. The co-workers made this job worth it. They are dedicated, hardworking and very good at what they do.
Cons
I used the word "job" in my write up of the Pros of working at Labatt, because that is exactly what Labatt is; a job, nothing more. They are not a valid longterm career opportunity for young adults looking to jumpstart their career and their lives. Just ask about employee turnover in your interview. Career advancement is nonexistent. If you are hired for a role, be prepared to work in that role for the rest of your employment with Labatt. They have many employees that are living proof of that. Management is extremely unprofessional and office morale suffers the consequences. Vacation time is structured as follows: 0-1 year: no vacation time 1-2 years: 5 days 2-9 years: 10 days 10+ years: 15 days No 401k until you have been there for a year and then they only offer a 2% match.
