Poor Management

Pros

Coworkers are great, hours are flexible, able to work independently, able to take as much or as little overtime as needed

Cons

Management is terrible, salary/benefits are mediocre, too much animosity between departments. Management is constantly promoting themselves while everyone else is stuck in their current role. Will get burned out very easily.

Pros

Consistent work, lots to do, always a project. They always need you if you are a good scientist. You do good for the pharmaceutical industry and research in drug development.

Cons

Moving up is hard, since there is lots of turn over, it is hard as an important part of the process to move up and or learn new things. Overlooked for promotions they rather hire outside or around people that have less experience than yourself.
