Pros

Benefits and incentives are great.

Cons

Understaffed, under paid, some employees are not properly qualified for there positions, unreasonable quotas, many days without lunch breaks. I worked 6 days a week for a little over a year, then working by myself seeing 60-90 patients a day with no help, no break, no lunch, just a phone call from the supervisor asking me for the tally for the day.

Pros

Flexible shifts are a plus Automation and Softlab are great to work with. Line superviors are former techs soo they at least know the score

Cons

We are running on empty. There is not one extra minute available during the shift. You literally can't go to the bathroom. Upper management is aware but thinks they are being efficent. Soo many of the techs are in there 50's,,,,and are soo burned out. When they retire and we are seeing them leave....no one to replace them.

Pros

Great benefits, there are also financial incentives that you can get quarterly depending on certain metrics that are met( which i will mention in cons)

Cons

more interaction from management to employees... WE NEED HELP! They have all these metrics for you to meet and being short staffed make it nearly impossible. Just the other day our senior manager came in to finally meet us and told us that we needed to get our wait times under 30 minutes. They were to high! We see 100 people a day and there are just TWO of us. we have to have a shipment for the courier to pick up at 11am. It takes almost an hour to complete which leaves only one person entering orders and drawing the blood for an hour! Then we are not allowed to close for lunch so its only one person in the office for 2 more hours while we alternate lunches and then to get out of there at the end of the day with NO overtime when you can't close touch out until 330 and your never ready to do it then anyway cause your so busy the rest of the day you can't get it done. get survey cards out, ask for credit card capture, get nobd, get everyones insurance card, get 100% insurance validation, draw the blood a certain way following SOP, process a certain way following SOP, when doing it the way they want it done per SOP takes FOREVER!!! but get it all done. have no mistakes and meet all your metrics or you will get put on a PIP and not get your quarterly incentive and do all this with NO OVERTIME( or get over time and have to leave early during the week to work it off therefore creating overtime and MORE stress for the other person) and do this with 2 people seeing 100 patients a day! PLEASE!!!
