Pros

Good coworkers, decent-ish pay for the type of work, and pretty good way to get your foot in the door right out of college. There is a pretty standard progression up the ladder in terms of promotions as well. The work doesn't come home with you. I had time to pursue my hobbies outside of work.

Cons

Very boring, monotonous work. Some coworkers keep to themselves which is fine, but some social interaction would be nice. Pretty big push to meet production goals every day and managers keep track of your production numbers. These numbers play a big role in your promotion eligibility. However, if you are over production, it's not like they pay you any more than what your role's standard pay is.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and ability to work remotely

Many of the US data management jobs are going to India. Also have had no real career advancement. Managers not meeting with staff on a consistent basis.

Pros

Met some of the best friends I have ever made. Learned a lot from the other employees. The coworkers really made me stay as long as I did.

Cons

Got in trouble for celebrating a birthday. Was told not to have lunch together. Forced overtime. Termination threats over being late, but no recognition for staying overtime. Did not stick to 1st shift hours. Upper management made my manager feel like they were not doing anything right, when in fact our manager was trying their best.

Pros

Working for Labcorp, I actually feel like a person and not a number. I know it’s easy to say that it could just be my manager, however it’s every manager that I have had that shares sympathy towards the things that I might have going on in my personal life. Another thing that I appreciate about working here is the benefits that I receive. Especially the benefits that help towards retirement. They allow 24 hour notice for requesting off. And the list goes on.

Cons

There aren’t many. I could say that the pay could increase. Especially since I could not live on my check alone. I think they do pay well though. Sometimes the stress of not enough workers, but that’s no fault of our team.

Pros

Policies and systems are in place. Some processes are well-structured. Provide very good training.

Cons

Managers tend to interfere in personal matters rather than focusing on work. Micromanagement and lack of trust hurt morale. The workload is too high and often unrealistic.
