Pros
Lactalis is an inclusive workplace. Very multicultural. As a queer woman, I rarely feel like I need to hide myself. Lactalis does a lot to make sure that diversity is celebrated rather than regulated or forced. Lactalis works hard to bring joy to the workplace in any way that they are able, and does a lot to give back to the community. Getting involved in these efforts is celebrated, but also not required for those who may be more introverted. It's a great balance.
Cons
Lactalis could stand to put more effort into ensuring a work-life balance for those at the bottom of the chain. I think that management and supervisors get a lot of perks that sometimes the hourlies miss out on entirely. It would be nice if those doing the most essential work could benefit more from the ease that they give to those at the top.
