The organization is fairly flat and has relatively low turnover so there aren’t always clear paths for long term advancement (pro: organization seems willing to find solutions). Lactalis culture is definitely better than other organizations I’ve worked for, but it’s not consistent across the board (can vary drastically by department and role). Performance is mixed, handful of brands are thriving and others lagging. Accountability isn’t as strong as it could be, which can make it harder to drive results and lead to disproportionate workloads (vast difference vs previous publicly traded employer).

I've never seen a company who has an HR team that will do everything possible to protect the sexual predators and get rid of employees that use basic benefits such as FMLA and Worker's Compensation. Cases are especially high in the Fresh Mozzarella Plant in Nampa compared to others on this site. Management in this particular plant is corrupt and the company's HR will do everything morally wrong to protect them. For anyone that does not have a management position, you're only deemed as someone they "don't want to get rid of" if you don't use any of your benefits as all. Sexual offenders can be reported multiple times, have no repercussions, and keep their jobs due to protection from HR and plant management. You're assessed and awarded based on how much of a liability you are, rather than how well you actually perform your job tasks. Use any of your employee benefits even one time and expect to receive a significantly lower rating on your performance review by management and lose out on your bonus.
