      Pros

      I have worked at Lam for almost 15 years. In that time I have had the opportunity to learn, grow my career, meet amazingly talented and devoted individuals, and be a part of a company that has a direct impact on the products I use daily. Being a mom of two young children, I also appreciate the flexibility I have. I do work hard, but I also have time to be a mom.

      Pros

      You get to solve multiple problems that include physics, material science, mechatronics and manufacturability. The company is literally on the bleeding edge of technology driven by the desire to keep up with Moore's Law.

      Cons

      Some of the skills that you learn are unique to the industry and do not transfer well to other industries. The systems have a high number of parts with a relatively low volume of sales.
