      Good place to be in the down turn.

      Pros

      Strong core values. Very customer focused. Solid opportunities for engineering development. Stable management team. Sizable amount of cash on the balance sheet. Market leader in the etch space.

      Cons

      Significant cut back of support staff during down turn but didn't reduce the expectations of engineering projects during the same time period. Expectations of long hours. Work life balance takes a back seat to getting projects done. Promotion opportunities are often filled by outside canidates.

      great benefits package good compensation including profit sharing with additional variable compensation fast paced and interesting work when business is strong

      Cons

      no repsect from any level of management for those who wish to maintain a healthy work life balance most decisions, including promotion and variable compensation are politically based, not achievement based
