Pros

There is a lot of growth opportunity. The staff is starting to turn over after a decade being owned (poorly) by Sears and many positions are opening up at all levels. Leadership is starting to focus on attracting quality candidates from Madison through remote work policies and highlighting the great culture. For someone who produces good work, knows how to work with leadership to define their career path and follows that up through self-motivated professional growth there would be few limits.

Cons

Some areas of business are needing a lot of development. Board and executive leadership is somewhat tainted by Sears allies, who I don't feel have Lands' End's best interest at heart. For some the commute from Madison will be a turn off, but the work-life culture and half-day Fridays balance it out. Don't be a wuss, the drive isn't bad.

Pros

A lot of high quality items. Lifetime guarantee on wear of products, that some customers take advantage of. Very good customer support. Believe in taking care of the customer and employees. Working from Home is a big bonus. Seasonal training of new products. Have had very good luck with supervisors our of 4, 1 was very bad, but LE worked with me to change to someone else.

Cons

Not set hours and sometimes very few hours until Christmas holiday and then more hours then what I would hope for. With lack of hours you miss changes in procedures. I believe all items made overseas, nothing from US.

New Management is willing to make the right changes to move the company forward.

Cons

Sales are tough, but it is the blood that keeps the company alive.
