Pros

I learned so much regarding terminology and things that school does not teach (insurance, finance)

Cons

We interpreters do not get paid enough, we do not get raises, we do not get PTO (I am pretty sure by law I should have gotten it), we get the feeling we are seen as expendable and replaceable.

Pros

Work from home, paid training, mentorship program

Cons

Benefits not so great, mentor and trainers don't usually speak your own language, so it's hard to receive a personalized mentorship. It's hard to find internal resources about which teams to contact for issues.
