I witnessed someone experience retaliation for going to human resources and the director for help- regarding very serious issues with their manager and other employees, just prior to leaving myself. The practices within the (EH) department are unethical and illegal. Three females have now quit within the last 1.5 months. Beware of the employees there; some are pathological liars, there is gender discrimination, as well as age discrimination and harassment of all sorts going on here. Bottom line: Something very wrong is going on at this particular department and I predict a law suit in the near future. If you are FEMALE and of a certain age, do not work here. And remember, human resources is not there to help YOU, they are there to help the EMPLOYER. Confide in a lawyer first if the issues you are experiencing are serious.
