Great place to start an aesthetic nursing career

Pros

Structured training on a wide range of energy based and injectable cosmetic treatments, so its a great place to start an aesthetic nursing career. Also, plenty of room for growth as company values loyalty and usually promotes from within.

Cons

Training is only on basics of each procedure - you wouldn't learn off label uses for neuromodulators or fillers for example. They also don't encourage you to obtain further training outside of the company. This makes it so even though you can grow within the company, you do feel very much like you hit the glass ceiling as far as growing your skillset with them.

LaserAway a place to work for, I worked there for about 4 and half years, it’s a company that really looks out for their employees. Management at LaserAway is amazing and always very supportive. Work schedule is flexible with personal-professional life balance. LaserAway has been one of the best places I have worked for. Thank You LaserAway!

Cons

I really can’t think of anything negative about this company. I have had the best experience working there. Management, especially Nicole Meath, Emily Perbellini, Jade, Amanda, were always supportive and willing to educate/train. Coworkers were awesome.

Pros

Steady work schedule made a month in advance. You are your own boss, so being self-motivated is a plus. Seeing the patient’s success stories helps when trying to sell services to new patients.

Cons

Commission culture means you can treat coworkers terribly if you are a top sales person. Miss a step, no problem, a coworker can steal a sale from you and there isn’t anything you can do. Make a mistake, don’t worry, you will be emailed with several people CC’d on the email. Ask a silly question on Slack, don’t worry, the whole company can see your attempt.
