Pros

New CEO with a big vision that is going to grow us into the future Great inclusion and diversity initiatives Without a doubt, this is the largest group of kind awesome people I've ever worked with

Cons

It's a disruptive time to be at LaunchDarkly with a new CEO who is going to take us to 5-10x our current revenue. This will be good for us, but it will be challenging to change to become the next version of LaunchDarkly. Competitive salaries, but they're frozen for now as we weather the current economic climate. Equity is nice, but it's a long way from being realized as it will still be some time until we can go public. Feels a bit siloed at times where most folks are independent operators and while there is cooperation and collaboration, it largely doesn't feel like one team, it feels like a whole lot of independent actors.

Pros

* Full parental leave * Unlimited PTO (within reason) * Using React, Remix, GO * Every single person you meet is kind and caring * No blame-culture * Lot of women in the company. Emphasis on hiring people from 'non-standard' backgrounds and different minority groups

Cons

* Remote-first company (Offices in California, and that's pretty much it) * Long interview process * Teams are referred to as 'startups withing startups', so you'll be wearing a few hats and/or getting a lot of scrutiny from the top on anything you do. * lots of documentation, but a lot of it is clutter * Recognition is extremely team-dependent
