First of all I don’t ever want Upper management to come to my office, they are very cut throat, and will replace people even if they moved out of state for the job. They present a high price to the customer, and if the reps do not sell it, then management will call them and take it to cost, even if the rep does have a follow up call back, they do not get the chance. Management is made to call all unsold deals the very next day and at least take it to cost, but I get it as for the company goes. Management does talk about there reps behind there backs and they do only feed the best, I get that also. New reps are sent out to the lower leads, unless the rep has a connection with management. This is a cut throat job, only 2-3 days of training is typical, and your on your own. How ever operation managers (AKA) sales managers are responsible for the whole office performance of sales, production, and marketing, but then they are not over top of the Production manager or the Marketing manager. They can not tell them what to do, they have there own boss.
