I wish I could say the benefits were a pro. I can't even say that. I honestly have no pros to report.

Cons

Too many middle management in this company. In addition, they all have different ideas on how to run the place, so you get pulled in a million different directions. Health benefits are expensive and hardly anything is "covered." Only game in town. So, if you mess up here, forget it. You're driving an hour north or south to get a job.

good benefits, most coworkers were excellent

Cons

Management on the Mom/Baby Unit is TERRIBLE!! Most of the nursing staff are excellent, but if you are planning to apply for a job there, BEWARE. They will sacrifice you to make themselves look good, never back you up when you try to enforce policies, and they definitely have their favorites who have been there for years, abuse the system and make no secret of it, then expect others to pick up their slack. Management does nothing about these people.
