Hello Former Employee, thank you for your review and expressing your opinions on the PTO policy with Lee Health. We do take employee feedback seriously and give the absolute best benefits we can as a non-profit employer. The 7.40 hours of PTO accrued every other week by full-time employees at Lee Health is actually very competive if not more generous than most employers. Lee Health does celebrate the 4 major holidays of the year. You're correct that the employees are required to take PTO if their department is closed for that celebrated date. While you were employed, we hope you gave feedback in the confidential annual employee satisfaction surveys. Departments are required to address issues that surface.
