Pros

The base pay is very respectable for a sales position. Hiring process was quick and simple.

Cons

- Lots of turnover in sales positions. - Sales quotas are not consistently attainable through the 100% door knocking approach that you are required to adhere to. Witnessed less than 10% of weekly quota's being obtained. - Yes, door knocking is not for everyone, but even if you believe in the service, are competent at starting conversations with strangers and possess the needed industry knowledge, your success often comes down to timing (luck) as you are only allowed to find clients by knocking on their door. - You may only implement other strategies to find clients on your own time. - New insurance policy changes regarding hail is reducing the future outlook of the industry.
