Pros

Recruiters have done a good job finding really smart, professional and mature individuals. Great solutions that really make a difference for their consumer. Hard work and great attitude is definitely rewarded. I started entry level and was afforded advancement opportunities several times through my career here.

Cons

New investors, Corporate restructuring and the growing pains that come with, have driven lots of talented people out the door in many departments. Leaders in place seem content on letting really talented professionals walk out the door. The culture has taken a dramatic turn for the worse in recent months since the acquisition, my department was completely dismantled and everyone went to their previous roles and pay if any. Salaries are being cut across the board. Typical of an online company, schedules vary with department. Customer facing teams have schedules from 7AM - 10 AM non-customer facing are typical business hours.

Pros

SOME of the people are nice to work with, free soda, bagel fridays

Cons

LZ does not care for you personally, we have annual company meetings with the ceo and higher ups and all they do is talk about how well we are doing but as far as addressing any concerns that workers have...they don't. They will "answer" any question by talking around it for about 10 mins. The culture here is do your work and no one cares about you, just lining their pockets with change. The only people they treat well are the upper management people. And they do not promote on merit its all based on who you know and you do not ANY type of people skills to manager so therefore the managers treat you like crap.

Pros

They did end up paying all employees for all unpaid Overtime hours. They made everyone sign a letter stating that they would not pursue any lawsuits in exchange for payment.

Cons

Management still denied they did anything wrong. They presented the after hours "training" as voluntary, with the promise of more pay and corporate advancement. Who's going to say No to this. Everyone "volunteered" even though they knew this was not right.
