Pros
Depending on department/skills/job duties, etc., someone may have the opportunity to grow exponentially. Other roles can be harder to grow in due to “cliques” of powerful individuals. Pay is comparable to other businesses. Some of the working areas are really nice - pretty good tech, descent benefits - especially the discounts on the products.
Cons
You sometimes have to try too hard and be fake to move ahead. Sometimes the company tries too hard to be relevant with their programs like many companies nowadays. A lot of woke ideologies at times. Work should be a place to prove your skills and that is what should be celebrated. Who cares what you look like or who you like romantically. Productivity and success are things to celebrate - I could care less to celebrate anything else in the workplace.
