      Pros

      Leica is part of a larger company - Danaher- but has a small company feel. If you put in some time and sincere effort, they pay off is well worth it. Some people have the personality for it, some people simply don’t. Leica treats those who work hard for the company well- especially with new management that has come into place the past year or so.

      Pros

      Exciting company to work for, great benefits, everyone on my team was great. Pay was excellent. Seemed to have some upward mobility.

      Cons

      End of quarter crunch was tough - often flying into one city at 6 am and flying out to another late that evening. Too few people in the service team, stretched thin - always putting out fires and never regrouping.

      Excellent products with cutting edge technology. Decent and growing market size. Good benefits. OK salary.

      Cons

      Too many weird people in the office and in the field . Lots of office politics. Crazy turnover. Complicated reorganization keeps going on. Very little room for career advancement. Employees are not evaluated based on performance, rather than relationship with managers.
