Pros

To be frank, I have nothing good to say at this time

Cons

No work life balance. They expect you to give 110% and that’s fine but when you bring up that you’re being underpaid, crickets. Techs with only 2 to three years of experience are compensated more than techs that have over a decade of experience. Then they’ll give you every excuse in the book to not adjust your wage forcing to get a second job to make up the difference. Mind you, a second job that’s impossible to keep due to their chaotic schedule. You have to survive solely on hopes of getting overtime.

Safety and Quality

Pros

Started off great - thought they were very team oriented.

Cons

While the company has potential and many hardworking employees at the ground level, it unfortunately lacks transparency and meaningful communication from director-level leadership and above. This becomes especially problematic when trying to build effective teams or raise critical safety and quality concerns. Efforts to provide feedback or escalate issues often go unanswered or are dismissed without meaningful dialogue, which can hinder progress and morale. Leadership involvement is essential to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and the lack of engagement from senior decision-makers creates unnecessary barriers to improvement. For the company to truly succeed and retain experienced professionals, it needs to foster a culture where communication is valued at all levels — especially when it comes to safety, quality, and team development.

Pros

1. Tuition/Certification reimbursement. This is a huge and very nice benefit to full time employees, but keep in mind it is discretionary and can be suspended in times of company hardship. 2. HR interactions were all fine without issues except for on the SCA side of things. 3. Pays well for contract roles despite other drawbacks 4. Mandatory training is quick and not overly drawn out 5. Company culture as a whole is good, if a bit generic 6. Fully pays for any business travel you may need to take part in, good reimbursement process there.

Cons

1. SCA contract 'benefits' are rough and not explained well at all. Effectively you have the option of taking extra money or taking advantage of benefits. This means any employer 'contributions' are taken out of the SCA pay. 2. SCA contract roles are also not stable. I myself was laid off after several years of purges as my contract is getting dissolved bit by bit. I don't blame the company for this but keep this in mind if you will be working on contracts, even full timers are not safe. 3. I'm not sure if this is company wide or not, but the timekeeping system could almost not possibly be worse. 4. Moving into other internal positions or roles is largely condensed into applying and praying. I never received any feedback whatsoever, including when reaching out to hiring managers for said positions. While positions local to you may be obtainable, applying for remote positions is equivalent to throwing a needle into a haystack even as a current employee.
