      Pros

      Love the people, tolerate the management, what more can you ask? - quite impressed with the transition from SAIC to Leidos - corporate branding and marketing first rate. They really are trying to engage with the employees on a deeper level, really appreciate that.

      Cons

      Impossible to get a promotion unless your Govt. overseers first give the approval...don't really feel protected from the customer tantrums. Salary is good but bonuses are the usual popularity contest. Benefits are solid.

      Pros

      Flexible in schedule, allowing credit hours if any to utilize in the rainy days. Great benefits and stability, unlike small contractors.

      Cons

      Management issue is expected wherever you go, but totally depending on you and the group's chemistry. Favoritism is prevalent and room for growth is none - due to flexibility and stability, many stays with no promotion for a decade or even more.
