      Pros

      They used to be a very flexible - but with new reorganization(s) the fear of losing employment is real, fear of how things will be run is real. Not sure there are any real positives with this company anymore.

      Cons

      They have become very 'corporate' in management (ie very top heavy) and have lost the scientific verve that it once (as SAIC under other management) used to have. Management does not seem to understand that this is a contract to NCI and in the end pleasing the NCI is what counts.

      Pros

      Very flexible with home circumstances once I have been with the company for at least a couple of years. I can work from home if my kids are sick, management is very helpful with providing answers to questions as they come up, and you feel like a part of the team.

      Cons

      Even though we do ethical training every year, I see ethics being broken left and right without any repercussion. Things were reported, but never went anywhere.

      While I enjoy my actual position working with the Government, the company itself has far too many shortcomings.

      Pros

      The company has some great contracts to work on within the Government. The employees from the program management level down to the ground floor are great to work with.

      Cons

      False Promises Lack of employee relations From the top down to the division management level there is very little support. While the company promises certain employee benefits, the company makes it so difficult to get approval for the benefits such as tuition reimbursement that it is practically impossible. No growth potential, once you are in, you are stuck where you are at. Don't expect to have the ability to grow within the company.
