      Pros

      Formally SAIC, good company to work for while employed.

      Cons

      Contract cuts and the company just layed off instead of being put on the bench. After 10 years of working for them, receiving good performance reviews and raises every year, I thought they would care more about placement in another position.

      Pros

      Worklife balance. Career growth. Good and very bright employees. Ethics. Employee care (at least in my department and most in the line that I see). Most folks strive to and do their best to do the right thing.

      We are in the throws of massive change and that's difficult to muscle through for most.

      Very little positive remains of what was SAIC

      Cons

      Women are not in decision making positions, and the ones that are in those positions are not able to effect change. Decision makers are very concerned about money , not a stable workforce. People are treated very differently than they were under previous leadership. Since the company split, the focus is strictly internal. External inputs (from non leadership personnel) is not welcome.
