Pros

They pay new hires well. Keep up with the industry.

Cons

This is a sales job. You sell products on top of high interest loans to people who need neither. This is a collections job. You will see people who have pain interest and fees on a loan for five years without paying anything toward the loan. You will never have the end of the month free again. You will work until 9pm the last several days of a month. You will go back to work before December 31st and and you will call people for payment until 9pm.

Great leadership but no movement at home office

Pros

- Leadership cares. They visit branches and there are tons of bonuses and professional development opportunities available in the field. You can become an AVP very quickly in the field. - Benefits are great. We have healthcare, mental health resources and other helpful benefits. - People are nice. We are all nice to each other. - Growth. Branches are opening almost every week. This company is growing very quickly in the field (not Home Office).

Cons

- Professional development in home office is non-existent for people under the manager level. If you are under the manager level, you are also not eligible for any awards, the Manager Meeting, or going on the trip to a 5-star location… - Bonuses and pay for home office is not good even though we’ve been having exceptional growth. - New home office job opportunities are non existent if you are below manager level. - For those of us who work from home, we get no free lunch or office perks and managers are almost punishing us for working from home by only having “in-office” events.

Pros

The company seems to truly care about their employees. They have overall good benefits. Affordable health insurance, every federal holiday off, higher than average pay for the industry.

Cons

The culture originated from corporate doesn't always make it down to the branch level. The amount of pressure to meet goals will cause management to overlook some of the corporate philosophies in order to meet those goals. Many more late nights and Saturdays than what was disclosed in the interview process.
