So a 9 hour work day is actually 9.5 hours, makes it feel even more draining on worklife balance. - Salaries are lower than almost any other engineering type job in the area. - Management seems to prevent engineering from doing their job properly by penny pinching and process that has no actual benefit to the company. Constantly prevents progress or design improvements due to fear of upfront costs without seeing the benefit long term. Designs are half baked but put into production causing more rework and costs than needed. - Stiff work environment, terrible work parties, multi-million dollar company "can't afford" to bring spouses to Christmas party every year.
