      Great Company, Better People, still learning DTC

      Pros

      First and foremost the people are what make LS&Co. a great company. Everyone is generally good hearted, open, respectful in nature and willing to help when someone needs it. Very close knit, supportive and collaborative environment for the most part - some teams are more siloed but that is slowly getting better. New CEO, new CDO, new CCO will undoubtedly change that over time, but it still continues to be a place of culture, staying true to its mission of "how" they work and get things done vs. just getting it done.

      Cons

      Still learning how to grow as DTC led company. Very new Csuite, still learning how things play out across the entire business. New senior leadership positions filled with less than retail-savvy people. Has a lot of growing to do as a DTC first company - still very wholesale heavy and fragmented visions from leadership on how to get to DTC focused approach.

      the leadership is very inexperienced in how to run a data science org. You can use a sword to chop vegetables but that's just a waste of potential of the resource
