Pros

Most of my experience was that the night staff was awesome and always willing to help. Good location and views. benefits (there are a bunch). continuing education and many free certifications/classes. Management willing to work with school schedule.

Cons

parking. some outdated rooms (tiny tiny ones in south tower and huge ones in the north). carpet in the halls. Poor nutrition/food options for night shift. As someone who worked both nights and days, some of the day shift staff can be a whole lot less helpful/friendly especially to someone who gets pulled to their floor.

Pros

The patient interaction is a great bonus to working this job. The day's caseload offers a lot of variety, keeping you engaged throughout the day.

Cons

In such a fast paced environment, communication can be challenging at times. Keeping this in mind and remaining flexible, helps to overcome this challenge.
