Pros

Company is almost 100% remote, which is nice for work/life balance. Salaries are on target with Market standards, for the most part. Benefits are pretty good - they even offer pet insurance. Employee discounts are offered through their PEO Provider Provides relevant services to emergency responder agencies Never had an issue with Payroll - their process is on point. Everyone is very nice to work with!!

Cons

Not a ton of structure or guidance in building processes. Very complicated and prolonged interview/hiring process for some roles. Lexipol is fond of stacking your calendar with meetings, meetings, and more meetings, which can take a huge bit out of productivity. Lexipol is heavily governed by their funding company, which creates uncertainty in hiring when directives and numbers don't match.

Lexipol has experienced strong growth over the past couple of years which can present challenges in onboarding. We appreciate your feedback and are working to standardize processes and procedures as we grow with new roles and departments. We also encourage all personnel to exhibit our company values that include Empower and Own It to manage their priorities and time commitments.

Pros

Lexipol offered great support and learning. However, the onboarding process lacked critical information and resources to make an immediate impact. Some of the learning came too late in the game.

Cons

As with any company, the leader makes the team. When the team leader is more concerned about image and their performance, the team members sense the disconnection.

Thank you for the feedback. We are working to enhance the initial onboarding training now and we already have additional ways to gather opinions and feedback from many angles, including anonymous ones.

Pros

Great mission of serving first responders. The culture is really great. The pay is not at market level in most areas, but they say they are working on it. Owned by private equity. The current one (GTCR) seems to understand the business better than the former. Positive changes have started happening.

Cons

Executive leadership (C Suite) says that they are working on improvements, but it is obvious that they are struggling to grow. They are running the company as if it is still small, so even limited impactful decisions have to go up the chain to get approved. Lots of talk and not enough action.

Thank you for your input during this growth period. Feel free to reach out to a senior member of the HR team to talk through specifics if you like (open door). There are processes implemented fairly recently that will positively impact this and more in process now.
