Pros

The 10% staff discount (currently UK only) is good, working with the public, and you get to work with some lovely people.

Cons

Lack of respect from management who will lie directly to your face, long hours without a break or just a short break, poor pay, minimal staff level makes it harder for everyone.

Pros

nice experience for a student job, from the point of view of getting used on the labor market. helps to improve your competences about how to work in a team, and how to manage your own stress.

Cons

hard work and long hours spend at the check-out without breaks. not enough stuff for the most of the time, which increase the pressure on the employees.

Pros

Good pay for what you're doing compared to other supermarkets. Doing a mixture of things rather than the same thing everyday ( could be a con depending on what you like)

Cons

A lot to learn and a lot of pressure to do it. Very early starts sometimes Late finishes sometimes Busy, fast paced work Can be quite physical No staff discount
