Pros

- fancy office - free give away - decent health insurance & pto policy - nice people

Cons

- few to non-training, manager throws you out and expect you to build something from the ground shortly without any "real" help - micromanagement, leadership changes direction often, manager push employees to do something impossible & work overtime - non-trustworthy, always monitor if employee's teams status show as online and ask why away or offline quite often - your coworkers watch you as well - don't allow employees to put over 40 hours on timesheet during covid - even though you work overtime, they don't want to pay extra - no career development opportunities. either you get out of the mess or stuck with it forever

Typical company to avoid.

Pros

Pros are geared towards Senior Management and up, and European transplants. Both groups are mainly made up caucasian males. (Managers and below are pretty much looked over other than receiving standard benefits).

Cons

Zero to none growth rate. Lidl has not taken a stance on any social injustices that have taken place in the US. There is no voice for minority employees. During the current pandemic employees were required to use 40 hours of PTO while Senior Managers and above are continuously gifted BMW vehicles for no work purpose at all.

Pros

Young office in good area

Cons

Most days in office from around 9a-8p, overworked and underpaid with no overtime benefit No training structure Very few women or POC in leadership roles Promise travel and training in Europe (which I would have loved) then never sent me in almost 3 years there Going to HR with issues does nothing except hurt you Even made employees pay for coffee haha
