Sports themed atmosphere, good discount, fun environment when you have the right staff in the store,

Cons

Managers pick favorites and there is no attempt at hiding it, if you get on the bad side of your district manager you can/will be targeted, low pay compared to other comparable positions, high turn over rate

Pros

Its a very very relaxed job. Not much to do but greet, tag, and try to sell to customers. Managers are usually flexible and cool. Good 40% discount if you want to end up owning 50 hats like I did. I don't even wear hats..

Cons

Pay.. Its alright for a person starting out as their 1st job. But not worth it otherwise. Most stores only have 3-6 employees. Its slow. They don't really reward you for good sales in any way. You work long hours because of short staff. Easy to become manager, but hard to become anything above that.

Pros

Great starter job for a young person trying to get their resume good for a career job oppurtunity. Also great for someone who has college classes because of flexible scheduling.

Cons

On one hand if you did not need a lot of hours then this job was fantastic but on the other it was hard for me because hours were a min of 16 to 24 hours a week depending on what time of year it is and if co-workers are on vacation. I also had a manager that stole money and when I told my district manger about this the answer was I am sorry i do not believe he would do that even though i seen it.
