Pros

They got some cool products if your into sports and the discount was also really good at 40% off. Depending on location it can be at times a fun environment if you like sports

Cons

The pay was well below standard from employees. Usually sales reps get minimum wage but the odd time they will give someone $11 though that's the highest they go. No annual raises Assistant managers only make $12.50 and Managers $14 + bonus which can be good or nothing depending on the store product and which is usually not great. The way they order and distribute product is horrible. They would blanket stores with 95% local team apparel and items. They use American buyers for Canadian sports like hockey. Neither customers nor employees can order product from the American website (which has 10X better product) Shipping for products to customers is very unorganized Company gives more attention to Hat stores vs Apparel stores.

Pros

Flexible scheduling if you're a store Manager. Still retail though, black out periods during peak periods. Christmas, March break, back to school etc.

Cons

Almost everything about working at this company is a downfall. There is no support from upper management and you are disposable. They do not see a good employee when they have one and make no efforts to retain decent people. Store management is a plateau for 99% of employees, and that is only if they hang on longboard enough through lower levels to see a management position.

Pros

Discounts on merchandise and the chance to work in sports, some opportunity to watch at work. Often times to talk about the sports that you love

Cons

Pay is usually pretty low, around the minimum wage and often it won't be that busy. It carries the same problems that retail has in dealing with customers.
