      Great place to work (depending on your team and manager)

      Pros

      Great flexibility, benefits are wonderful. Smart and hardworking people.

      Cons

      Your experience here depends almost entirely on who your manager is. Many people I know have experienced management abuse and manipulation but many people I know have had incredible experiences. All of that really boils down to who you're under. Salaries are typically lower than similar roles at other (non-religious) organizations. Spiritual manipulation is very common. Constantly being reinforced that the mission is priority #1 is a common tactic to guilt employees into prioritizing work over other personal matters.

      Pros

      Mission driven, great values, strong leadership, generous mindset and capital “C” church oriented.

      Cons

      Passionate people and culture. Have to keep your priorities in line and it is manageable for sure. Many have worked here for a long time in a healthy way.
