Pros

Great mission and vision! You will grow, learn, and develop as an individual. The culture is very strong and has clear values that guide decisions. It is an amazing place to work, grow, and develop. The impact on people's lives is pretty incredible when you step back and think about all that God is doing through Life.Church. I am honored and humbled to be a part of Life.Church.

Cons

The pace and push for growth is always present; which is very taxing on individuals and families. The pace is a part of the culture. There is a paradox between "you are called to do this" and at the same time "next person up mentality" that often feels cold, impersonal, and that you are useful until you are not any more. The theme "grow or go" is not a motto but a mandate, and you are always reminded that there are people who can and will do your job if you are not there or able to cut it. It takes intentional planning and real sacrifice for families to remain long-term at Life.Church.

Work For You

Pros

There are places you work for, places that work against you, and in fairytales there are jobs that work for you. Where the entire experience grows you, gives to you, fulfills you, changes you, challenges you, and makes your family, your career, your faith, and your finances stronger. Life.Church is a job that works for you. I know that if something bad happens at home, my employer will not only be flexible and understanding, they will be there, ready to help. I know that if I am feeling weak in an area I won't be disparaged, I will be equipped and empowered. I know that I am needed, safe, and known. Also, the coffee is from a local micro roaster. We have easily the best coffee in the state.

Cons

If you want to just bring home a boring, easy, paycheck. This place isn't for you.
