Pros

Free membership to brand new facility.

Cons

NO inter-department communication. Inconsistent management of pool (it was often the supervisors 1st job) No positive feedback from managers, often told employees all the things we were doing wrong, but never mentioned anything we did right. Lots of negative experiences with members. They would yell and scream at Lifeguards when we were just doing our jobs, then management would try to mollify them so they wouldn't drop membership. Other departments were extremely rude to aquatics because we were paid better (even though we have to have certifications and experience to work).

-Freedom to build your own programs -Easy to move up levels if you have a work ethic so that you receive higher commission wages. -Fun/Family-Like Staff environment

Cons

-Misguided pay expectations upon hire. -More about sales than about actually helping people- even though the first thing they tell you in new hire is "This is not a sales job" -Inconsistent pay checks due to being 100% commission pay.
