General Manager promised a 3 week training period out of the club. (Was only 1 week at my club, then cancelled the training due to too many problems in the department, never allowed to go back to training) Hiring process for employees takes close to 4-8 weeks, too slow especially when summer help leaves. 35,000 p/yr for Department head position, when YMCA is paying close to 60,000 p/yr Stepped down to Assistant Department Head to learn more and receive more training. NEVER GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MORE OR TRAINING. In a year and a half of being an employee, there has been 3 General Managers, and different Department Head changes throughout club. Reaching profit goals are unattainable as a Department Head Expense budget makes it impossible to properly run department with enough employees.

- ZERO social life 10-12 hr days and 12+ on last 3 days of month - no accountability from corporate - will run team in the ground/ burn out very quickly - preach a Healthy Way of Life but don't expect to live it
