Pros

-remote work -wonderful support staff to help with administration and coordination of sessions -easy system for notes and assessments - can complete them fast

Cons

-fee for service job - not salary. -work life balance is not there if you want to make enough money - inconsistency with check amounts but one thing was common: the majority of checks were a much lower amount than anticipated. -contract for one year -consuming and unclear system with how they pay and manage compensation. -no PTO or paid holidays

Pros

Great if you like disorganization, disregard for both patients and employees, and unethical practices

Cons

Senior manager diversity hires are faking it until they make it, which doesn't seem to be anytime soon. Constantly required to support shady business and billing practices. Clinicians treated unfairly and support staff might as well be potted plants that are rarely watered. There are so many places to work. Pass Lifestance by without a second look if you value teamwork, ethics, and good patient care.

Pros

Salary is competitive based on billable services but is less attractive when you consider follow-up and admin is not paid for

Cons

Lack of communication, poor coordination, under qualified leadership/poor vision of ground level issues resulting in ignoring problems or bad problem-solving, lack of engagement/automating communication to the point of disconnection, lack of investment in clients, lack of investment in community/lifestance is an institution unto itself, it's a McDonalds franchise model for volume that maps poorly onto the complexity of mental health and employees get blamed for the problems with both the strategy and the infuriating lack of investment in technology, acuity and complexity of care is not a consideration in productivity
