Pros

The people who hang on somehow are still kind and deserve more

Cons

-terrible pay -$$$ is the bottom line, despite if it goes against good patient care, will charge and charge for no shows knowing some of these patients cannot pay yet keep scheduling them -awful management, high amounts of turnover -limited benefits, do not cover any licensing fees -you’ll feel overworked and burned out, always trying to get ahead

Pros

Most of the patients are serious about getting therapy.

Cons

I have many patients that discontinued therapy because they would receive a huge bill and as a result, they told the billing department and myself that they thought their health insurance covered the cost for therapy.

Pay is Inconsistent

Pros

Company culture is caring and supportive and you can make your own schedule.

Cons

Pay is inconsistent. As a candidate for licensure, you do receive supervision for free, but you will be allocated mostly Medicaid clients. Your reimbursement rate for Medicaid sessions is much lower than those for clients with private insurance and you do not receive compensation if your Medicaid appointment does not show up to the appointment or shows up late.
