Pros

The kids. New environment every day. You don't work holidays because the schools are off too. If you are curious and passionate you can learn a craft and grow in your skills.

Cons

Inconsistent schedule. Early days and late nights, which includes travel. Lots of negativity and fighting for hours. Lots of employee turnover. Be prepared to destroy your car with all the equipment you have to carry, with very little compensation for wear and tear.

Pros

-Great Pay -Fun to work with kids all day -Great place to be if you want to get started in/learn more about portrait photography!

Cons

-There’s sometimes some major communication problems the schools, corporate, and the photographers, and it can lead to a lot of issues. -Harder commutes the more rural you’re stationed. -Hard on personal vehicle with the amount of driving. -Sometimes schools can be a little high-and-mighty and there’s nothing you can really do other than try your best to work with them

Pros

Different working environment every day Making kids smile and laugh Giving the teachers a positive moment in an otherwise stressful day Successfully organize multiple things at once Learn a multitude of new skills

Cons

Low pay for lots of work, long hours and extreme wear and tear in your body/vehicle Training material that does not coincide with ultimate expectation Low staffing and high turnover make employees who stay become overworked, overlooked and underpaid Communication between sales team and photography team is poor. Sales team also overworked, understaffed and underpaid. Beware taking on extra responsibility: it will be taken advantage of. Advancement is limited and not followed through with successfully.
