Pros

If you're just working for spending money and you have a spouse making good money then it's fine since you get the summers off

Cons

The pay is horrible, you have to work sick because not only do you not get sick pay you get points if you're out sick. So there is always someone there sick. Numerous occasions people have puked out on the work floor. Since people can take a good picture with their cell phone you would think they would try to keep experienced people. Nope, then they can hire someone in cheaper. They keep taking benefits away including some paid time off and holiday pay. To advance you need a degree but they don't allow any flex time to even go to school. You don't always know what hours you'll work or if you'll have to work Saturday so it's hard to plan anything especially for us moms with young children who need a babysitter.

Pros

Company is employee owned - so employees receive stock equal to 25% of their salary plus dividends etc. This can be quit a chunk of money after 10 years or so.

Cons

Lots of corporate politics. The company is constantly reorganizing so job security is questionable. High employee turn over.

Pros

Training and experience in multiple realms including photography, sales, and receptionist duties. Good experience for aspiring photographers, or those in high school wanting to gain resume building material... But during busy seasons will make you start to hate your passion... Photography becomes a chore rather than creative...

Cons

Management is sometimes WAY too obsessed with sales goals and averages that its intimidating to work there. The company constantly releases coupons and packages for really cheap and alot of customers really dont want to spend 230+ for a media bundle when they have in their mind to be spending very little with their coupon package... It makes the sales process annoying and a lot harder for the MINIMUM wage that most of the team members receive. THEY NEED TO NOT BOOK SESSIONS EVERY 10 MINUTES!!! BE REASONABLE! You cant photograph an infant session in under 10 minutes for quality portraiture. It just makes the whole experience for the employees and the models miserable and rushed.
