Pros

I generally like the people I work with. Everyone is very nice and fun to talk to. The kids are also lovely; very rarely do I get kids who are mean or uncooperative. My immediate supervisor is extremely helpful and forthright with information when asked.

Cons

Account specialists are stretched too thin; too many schools have incorrect or missing data that the account reps miss. Mistakes on the schools' part are too frequent and not caught until picture day and we're all scrambling. Pay is too low given our HCOL area and the figurative messes we frequently have to clean up.

Pros

Easy to join with little photography experience. You get to meet with and work with a lot of cool people. Made plenty of overtime. Better than working food service.

Cons

Had to drive up to 4 hours per day to different locations. Did not offer hazard pay or ample protection during COVID. Worked very long days and then had to wake up at 3am starting the next day. Would get assigned as the "lead photographer" which gave you more stress and responsibility but at no pay increase.
