Pros

Co-workers were great, as were many of the team leaders. Flexible scheduling and very understanding about family issues. Exposure and an opportunity to learn new software and workflows was great. Local managers did the best they could within 'out of state upper-management' rules and tried to create a strong 'family' feel.

Cons

High volume hiring during peak season - 'seasonal temps'- very upfront about the transitory nature of the employment. All employees, other than management, worked in 6 month chunks with the Gideon Sword of layoff with little notice hanging over their heads. Knowledge of overtime, short time or layoffs was often at the 'last minute' - literally. The company is supposed to be employee owned - yet upper management actions say otherwise. No paid holidays…you have to use personal time off hours. BTW many had the employment status of seasonal part-time/full-time…not a choice in the employment menu above. (and both might be working 40+ hours)

Pros

Fun employees and office at the end of the day. The office staff and management does their best to help people cope with what is otherwise a stressful work environment.

Cons

High-paced environment when photographing, disorganized set-up at schools, mostly because lack of willingness to push for a more organized schedule, just to make the sales.

Pros

A great company to work for if you are looking for entry level work & pay. Family owned and operated. Everyone is really friendly and the owners provide lots of free snacks and beverages for all employees. Great place to learn about portrait photography.

Cons

Office is run seasonally and only a hand full of employees get to work during the winter months. Everyone else gets laid off until the Spring or Fall. Office is located near the smelly landfill so during the summer the air stinks. Just about everyone makes between minimum wage to $12/HR max. No room to grow or advance at this location due to the limited number of positions. Only the 3-4 sales people have the opportunity to increase their wages because they can get commission.
