Pros

If you like to travel & photograph new places then this job is great. A great place to start upping your game on portraiture photography.

Cons

The pay is 100%commissioned based. Expect to have a lot of down time & collecting unemployment. Your pay is solely relied upon the outside rep. bringing in new business. The company is old school with the issues that never seem to be resolved. Your travel expenses are paid for but you have to fork up the money for hotel, gas, and food initially. Your schedule is subject to change week to week.

Pros

I loved working with the church families. The company had a beautiful set up and excellent equipment. Was proud to represent the company due to the quality photography experience the company had set into place for families and the priceless portraits we could provide. Very professional set up. Management and supervisors were excellent to work under in my region. Co-workers were wonderful, too. Probably because it takes a very positive, talented, upbeat type of person to do the job so that's who Lifetouch hires.

Cons

Pay was strictly commission. Hours were too long (11am-10pm or later). Often had to work six days per week. Hardly saw family and when payday came, it somehow wasn't worth it. Not when you can make more working across the street at your local gas station or grocers. Yes, sales takes talent and it's your job to sell big but there are certain aspects of the company's incentives, package and pricing system which strongly contributes to lower sales.

Pros

This was a very good match for my skills, because I'm very detail oriented. I liked being able to utilize my abilities and attention to detail at LifeTouch.

Cons

There were very early mornings, sometimes with a scheduled time at 4:15am.
