Pros

Work in the field with some very amazing people at the schools. If you are a strong self motivated individual it is a terrific opportunity.

Cons

Territory offices are EXTREMELY inconsistent. Old Lifetouch means male dominated, alcoholic drinking behavior, inconsistent management. condescending treatment, unclear money practices when it comes to commissions. So many cons it is really sad. Corporately - appalling that these things are continually brought to HR's attention but continually go ignored. They have a corporate responsibility to demand better and to reprimand poor, unethical, and discriminatory behavior. They choose not to.

Pros

Able to use your creative side when you're behind the camera. The atmosphere was fun and very satisfying. Hours where decent.

Cons

Management was really horrible at managing everyone and budget. At times you didn't know if you were going to be laid off or on the managements good side.

Pros

Photography can be extremely rewarding when they aren't shoving goals down your throat and expect you to do that with 15 minute sittings.

Cons

Management is terrible. No communication throughout the studio, they were texting me schedules because no one could make one on paper, not everyone was made to do ASR. Too many appointments that are ASR only and expected to do so much with "packages" in just under 15 minutes. You are forced to sell pre-paid tickets on the floor otherwise your hours are cut back to nothing. The multi-unit managers are a joke. They manage 4 studios and they can barely handle one. Put studio managers back into place and communication would jump up tremendously. Also, when is not OK to call an employee on their day off? I have never heard of such nonsense.
