Pros

Not much when the cons outweighs the pros.

Cons

Under staffed and consistently busy. The pay range for the same position is vastly wide where the new hires make more than those who has been around. Even after a promotion, you ‘ll still be making less regardless of having more experience and better performance rate.

Pros

Lighthouse used to be a wonderful place to work and it seemed like they truly cared about the employees when I first started.

Cons

Below market compensation for going above and beyond your job position. Tech bro culture where strong and amazing women are ignored and passed over for promotions. Throwing money at new hires that are subpar and mediocre at best and expecting remaining good employees to pick up their workload on top of existing crazy workloads. Management will do nothing about the bad employees except pay lip service and just expect you to suck it up and deal with it. Management does not care about you or wish to hear your feedback even though they pretend to.

Pros

Some awesome people to work with.. There is plenty of room to grow in the company you just have to work for it and you have to know what you want. Free snacks are nice when they are available. Not a day goes by that is not challenging, so if you like a challenge and you like to constantly learn and discover its a great position.

Cons

There is no hand holding, you jump directly into the fire and its up to you to say slow down and not drown. Most of the training is OTJ, there are resources you just have to know how to utilize them. It's easy to start feeling overwhelmed and like you are lost, and some take it the wrong way. Time management is hard, and it can be hard to get your billable hours met if you don't know how to properly track your time. Pay could be better for the amount of work you can take on. It is easy to spend 8-10 hours in the office and then a good part of your evening checking emails so you need to figure your own work-life balance while at the same time pulling your own weight. Don't expect this to be a 9-5 job because it never will be.
