Pros

I have been with the company for less than a year and it has been a wonderful experience since. The overall culture of the company is very supportive, collaborative and inclusive, I have felt welcomed and appreciated for my contributions to the team from day-1. One of the things that I appreciated about this company is their belief in remote working and their investment in making it working, even when other companies seem to be back peddling towards in-person work. As a mid-sized software company focused on cutting edge e-discovery technologies, they understand the benefit of working flexibility and have created a culture that supports it. They have invested in the right technologies and resources to enable us to work seamlessly from any locations and they encourage us to take advantage of this flexibility when it makes sense to us. Also, I believe that the company has a bright future. The management team is proactive and strategic in its decision-making, always looking for ways to improve and innovate. The company is expanding its offerings and growing its customer base YoY, which is positioned very well for its long-term growth.

Cons

There is no significant downside being observed yet.

Pros

- Culture. Everybody is willing to help and take time out of their days to speak with you. It's the reason most employees are happy and clients like working with us. - Transparency. Leadership shares more details about company performance and decisions than even public companies I have worked at, and is willing to address any and all questions asked. I am shocked every company call at what is asked and answered. - Remote work. Even it's more standard than it once was, other companies are implementing return-to-office policies, while Lighthouse remains remote-first. It is not a tack-on to existing workflows, but rather is the core of how the company operates. - Career development. I have seen nothing short of complete commitment to employees developing in their career, whether that means moving to a new position, getting promotion, or just continuing to become a SME in their given role. - Compensation and benefits. I'm personally very satisfied with my level of compensation, which includes bonuses not tied to sales and the lowest cost benefits I've seen yet in my career. The company is consistently working to improve those benefits, as well. Dental coverage is especially good, at least according to my dentist.

Cons

- Manager skills. There's no doubt that a number of managers lack skills to effectively manage, including and especially communication to/with their teams. I have to say, though, I have not seen those skills lacking from the C-Suite. Having worked with actually-ineffective and -bad leaders, that is simply not the case here.

Pros

Lighthouse is thinking about traditional eDiscovery differently. We are doing things smarter. There has always been a culture of innovation at Lighthouse, but over the past several years new members of the executive team were brought on. Almost all of the new executives came from outside the eDiscovery industry. I believe that has further propelled our innovation efforts. There are fresh perspectives and we are quickly delivering new solutions that are making a meaningful impact across the market. Further, our new CEO, Ron Markezich, inspires confidence and excitment about the future of our business. Ron is a great listener. He asks important and hard questions of our clients and of our internal team. He is incredibly transparent. Open Q&A is becoming company culture and Ron ensures that all questions receive a response. I am extremely confident that Lighthouse will continue to lead the industry and will be even more successful under Ron's leadership.

Cons

There are growing pains, but there is open communication about the plans and actions underway to address them.
