Pros

Lightmatter is developing cutting edge semiconductor technology. The work is challenging and, at the same time, rewarding. I like that it is located in downtown Boston—easy walking/biking commute from where I live.

Cons

The company is a growing startup so everyone is expected to work together and contribute. You must be heavily interested in your role, and you must play nice with other people.

Pros

Great people, lots of opportunities to learn in the innovative field, healthy work-life balance.

Cons

Benefits, albeit being generally good, are only about average for the industry. The tech is new and unproven, so long-term outlook of the company is unclear at this point.
